I recently found additional photos of Sugar Land Telephone Company operators. If that is Ruby Nichols closest to the camera, they were taken sometime between 1955 and 1959. They show the switchboard in the building that now serves as the temporary location of the Sugar Land Museum. The room on the other side of the wall is the Museum's archival lab, where I spend a lot of time nowadays.
