I have always been a fan of radio, so I enjoyed this nostalgic recollection of Houston's radio history.
When I was a kid, I listened to KILT constantly, even as I did my homework. I was in the 8th grade when Russ Knight, The Weird Beard, had a 'stunt' in which students could call him and put teachers in a 'dungeon.' He never let it get vicious; in fact, it was almost an honor for a teacher to get the treatment.
