These first two images come from The Fort Bend Mirror in late 1959. The first announced the vote to incorporate Sugar Land. The second announced results of the first municipal election.
The next two photos show the relocation in March 1985 of Sugar Land's old train depot from Ulrich & Highway 90A to its present spot at Commerce Green Boulevard.
The final photo is part of a panorama taken around 100-years ago. The camera is pointed where the Farmer's Market is held. As you can see, everyone came out to have his/her picture taken. Looks like a lot of horses and buggies got in the act, too.
