If I remember correctly, Imperial Sugar resumed hiring students as summer employees in 1968 after several years of not doing so. I have copies of The Crown (the company weekly bulletin) showing summer hires for the years 1968, 1969, and 1971. You can see us in the three pictures below. They all look like hard workers to me.
