I found some photos my brother Bruce took in 2009 of the old dairy bridge cows used to cross from the Sugar Land Dairy to their pasture, now the location of the new Imperial development. Here's one that gives a good view of the bridge.
Not to beat a dead cow, but here's an aerial taken in 1940 showing the west side of town.
It should help orient you. I didn't label the dairy complex, but you can see the barn and pens on the creek bank just below the foot of the bridge.
As a bonus, here's a photo looking west toward Dam No. 1, or Cook's Dam, which is just south of Constellation Park's right-field wall. The area looked pretty leafy 5 years ago.
