The following yearly weather summary comes from The Imperial Crown. Robert Laperouse, Sugar Land's long-time weather observer, logged the data, which he reported to the US Weather Bureau.
I assume the record low temperature on January 17th was a night-time low rather than a day-time high. August represented 25% of the year's total rainfall.
